We are now preparing for the 2016 LA Korean Festival and are looking for help from the community! We are looking for performers, make-up artists, balloon artists or anyone that thinks that they have any talent to contribute in the festivities. If you think you are a talented entertainer, send us a copy of your profile/portfolio/resume and see how we can make this festival better.
Not talented? No problem. Come and help out with the festival proceedings. LAKFF (Los Angeles Korean Festival Foundation) is looking for passionate volunteers who'd love to show his/her ability in any area such as: promotion, stage backup, translation, security, accounting and other areas. We will work with your time schedule and unique abilities to make sure you have a great experience volunteering with us!
It is a four day event and we would appreciate any help that we can get. Come have fun with your friends, enjoy good food and music while also helping your community. Come be a part of one of the longest running traditions in Los Angeles!
Email soo.lakff@gmail.com or victoria.lakff@gmail.com or call 213.487.9696 to see how you can help!
See you there!

Mission Statement
The mission and purpose of the Los Angeles Korean Festival Foundation is to celebrate racial diversity through the sharing of Korean culture to the surrounding community (including both Korean-American immigrants and non-Koreans). The Los Angeles Korean Festival is not merely a celebration of the Korean culture, but it is also an instrument by which we can promote racial understanding among the numerous ethnic groups that reside within our great city.
Description
The Los Angeles Korean Festival Foundation was founded in 1973, as leaders of the burgeoning Korean immigrant community of the greater Los Angeles area recognized the importance of preserving their ethnic identity and organized the Los Angeles Korean Festival. As a non-profit organization, the LAKFF organizes the annual Los Angeles Korean Festival with the assistance of its numerous sponsors. With over 400,000 attendees each year, the Los Angeles Korean Festival is one of the largest ethnic celebrations in the nation.
