Job Description Overview:

Business Planning is responsible for preparing business models, forecasting and validating business assumptions. This project has a start and end date, and should be completed within 60 days of start.
This project focuses on the overall strategy of STW with a strong attention to detail. The planner would require to connect the dots between mission and programs, to specify which activities and resources will be required to deliver those programs, and to establish performance measures that allow everyone to understand whether the desired results are being achieved. He/she would also be required to conduct a feasibility study. This project should cover all ascepts of how STW will operate in the next 5 years. The person should maintain good attendance & punctuality as it relates to meetings/discussions. They should be highly analytically driven and yet see the big picture.

Required Knowledge, Education, Work Experience, Skill Sets, and/or Certification:

• Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration equivalent degree and 3+ years of relevant business experience of Finance or Business Planning
• Knowledge of business and management principles
• Must have ability to communicate effectively with management and volunteers on all levels
• Demonstrated strong interpersonal skills
• Ability to get along with diverse personalities, tactful, and flexible
• Strong organizational and analytical skills are required
• Ability to establish credibility and be decisive, while being able to recognize and support STW(tm)'s preferences and priorities
• Attention to detail is a high priority; Must also demonstrate a sense of urgency commensurate with the needs of the fundraising department
• Ability to work independently, with minimal supervision
• Ability to read, analyze and interpret financial reports and data
• Ability to write reports and business correspondence
• Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from team members, customers, and the general public
• Experienced knowledge of personal computer with mastered skills in MS Excel, MS Word, Ms Powerpoint
• Proficiency with database applications and presentation software applications such as Google Drive are also required
• Ability to write Ad Hoc query reports
• Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions
• Ability to interpret a variety of financial, legal and technical information dealing with non profit organizations
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
