The Center for Women is looking for volunteers to act as financial coaches for women struggling with life transitions. Coaches meet with their clients once monthly for 3-6 months and offer advice and guidance on budgeting, debt management and goal planning. These coaching sessions are a huge step for women who are working to become financially independent.
Our Financial Coaching focuses on the financial needs of women, providing skills and knowledge leading to informed decision-making through an understanding of finances and financial fitness. From learning to balance a checkbook to living on a new family budget, the Center for Women’s Financial Coaching Program is aimed at helping women through all phases on the road to economic independence.

At the Center for Women, we design programs and initiatives to increase financial literacy, build career-related skills, connect women with mentorship and internship opportunities, and provide referrals to additional support services, all with the goal of ensuring women in the community are able to achieve and maintain economic independence and self-sufficiency.
