Time is our most precious gift. Share your gift with a Hospice patient. Time is limited, yet of eternal value. What makes it so is how you use it and to whom you give it. Share the your gift of time with a patient on their end-of-life journey. No special skills are necessary, just a listening ear and an open heart. It will be some of the most rewarding time you'll ever spend. Great Lakes Caring is currently looking for compassionate companionship volunteers willing to donate their time to provide exceptional end-of-life care to local hospice patients and their families. Our companionship volunteer will provide companionship, play cards/games, watch old movies, ect. There is no physical care involved. Hours are flexible, weekdays, evenings or weekends. Typically, we ask that you would visit your assigned patient 1-2 hours per week.
