Are you passionate about penguins? Wild about wolves? Crazy for kangaroos?
The Detroit Zoo is the place for you. With the Polk Penguin Conservation Center opening in a few months, we are recruiting adult volunteers for a wide range of opportunities.

Come to our next orientation of the spring season on Saturday, May 7, 9-11:30am in the Ford Education Center and learn all about it. It is the first step in a three-step process to get you ready for a fun summer at the Zoo.

Contact us for an application and information packet with all the details. Time commitments range from only 20 hours annually to help with special events. Take additional training and spend
50-75 hours - or more! - interacting with guests and sharing your enthusiasm about the Zoo and the animal residents.
