The Santa Cruz Symphony will be launching its 2016-17 Subscription Season at our March and May Concerts, on Saturday, March 19th/May 7th at the Santa Cruz Civic Auditorium and the Mello Center for Performing Arts in Watsonville on Sunday, March 20th/May 8th. We are looking for at least 8 volunteers (at least 4 at each venue for each concert) to assist at the subscription tables before the concert, during intermission, and after the concert.
Duties include taking subscription renewal orders, taking payments (credit card, cash or check), and providing exceptional customer service. Brief training before each concert is provided, as well as supplies such as a calculator, etc. Volunteers will also receive one complimentary ticket to the concert they are working.
Attention to detail is required, as well as great customer service skills and basic math computing skills.

Description
The Santa Cruz Symphony was founded in 1958, and since those early beginnings, the organization has grown to become one of the finest orchestras of its size in California, earning frequent critical acclaim. The orchestra musicians are among the finest in the San Francisco Bay Area and the Symphony showcases world-renowned soloists at its concerts. The Santa Cruz Symphony performs ten classical concerts in its regular season from October to May at the Santa Cruz Civic Auditorium and the Henry J. Mello Center for the Performing Arts in Watsonville. The Symphony also performs special benefit concerts, free School Concerts and a reduced-admission Family Concert. Additionally the Symphony demonstrates its commitment to education each year with its heralded Education Program, which reaches over 4,000 elementary students throughout Santa Cruz County each year.
