CicLAvia seeks volunteers to assist at our CicLAvia - The Valley open streets event on Sunday March 6
We need volunteers for:
- Volunteers will assist with passing out information, maps and providing direction for attendees as Hub Angels
- Help collect information by conducting and distributing surveys at or near one of our hubs as Survey Angels
- Help assistant walking participants along the route cross the route by acting at Crossing Angels
Shifts:
- ALL DAY: 8:30AM - 4:30PM
- AFTERNOON: 11:00AM - 2:00PM
- LATE AFTERNOON: 1:30PM - 4:30PM
- All volunteers receive a CicLAvia Volunteer Shirt
- Snacks and Water Provided!
Perks (Group of 6 or more)
- Same as the above
- Lunch will be provided
- 25% off of CicLAvia Merchandise tees and tanks
- Link and name placement of group on Volunteer Page
Requirements:
- Training/ Orientation is highly recommend for our volunteers to attend. (Sat Feb 27 at 12noon in Pacoima City Hall)
- 14 years or older to volunteer

CicLAvia is a 501c3 non-profit that catalyzes vibrant public spaces, active transportation and good health through car-free street events. CicLAvia engages with people to positively transform our relationship with our communities and with each other. CicLAvia temporarily opens streets across Los Angeles county to all Angelenos to bike, walk, skate, dance, and play. Free to the public, the event turns the streets into a park space that connects diverse portions of the city.
Description
Whether you're 16 or 60, an individual or with a group, there are many ways for CicLAvia fans to donate a few hours to the event.
On the day of the event, enthusiastic supporters help:
-Provide participants with route and activity information
-manage participant traffic at crossing points and hubs
-sign participants up for the CicLAvia mailing list
