The Fort Williams Park Foundation (fortwilliams.org) is looking for skilled writers & editors. We produce a multitude of Marketing & PR materials every year, including an annual report, fundraising appeal letters, social media postings, newsletter stories, and media releases, just to name a few.
Writing (and editing) would be focused on our organization and the Arboretum Project at Fort Williams Park. Interest in nature, gardening/landscaping & the outdoors is a plus, but not required. If you have a way with words and want to help us promote the Fort Williams Park Foundation, we'd love to hear from you.
The only requirement for writing applicants is that you must be able to attend our monthly Marketing & PR Committee meetings to get a sense of the project and our message.
Anyone interested in copy editing for the Foundation could do so without attending the meetings.
Thank you!
