Are you a veteran or active military looking to gain real world experience and help with an amazing cause? Habitat for Humanity Susquehanna is opening a ReStore May 7. If you are not familiar with the ReStore it takes donations of appliances, construction supplies, and furniture and sells them at a fraction of the cost. 100% goes back to Habitat for Humanity’s mission of providing affordable housing in Cecil and Harford County. We are looking for military/veterans to assist Habitat in trying to connect with our local military/veterans population. You would be brainstorming ideas, contacting, and speaking to military/veteran groups about donation and volunteer opportunities at our Aberdeen ReStore. Volunteers will be networking with local organizations and learning resume building skills. Most importantly, you will be helping Habitat build a stronger relationship with our military community. This opportunity is available anytime on Monday through Friday 10:00am to 4:00pm at our headquarters in Bel Air.
