SCORE Charleston SC is looking for volunteer mentors with business experience to to be an integral part of our growing, and expanding free mentoring services, no-charge roundtables, and low-fee workshops for small business start-ups and ongoing operations. Our Mission The mission of the Charleston SC SCORE Chapter is to provide professional counseling and mentoring to entrepreneurs. Our members are volunteers with knowledge, expertise and experience. In other words, SCORE fosters vibrant small business communities through mentoring and education. Our Vision Every person has the support necessary to thrive as a small business owner. SCORE Community Outreach SCORE partners with professionals who are available speak at workshops and to talk to you directly.
Description
SCORE Charleston SC, covering the Lowcountry, is a local chapter of the national organization. Through confidential mentoring, provided at no charge to our small business startup and ongoing clients, and extensive workshops (minimal charge) and roundtable (no charge) eduction programs along with extensive online resources via experienced successful business people, SCORE provides a unique source to help small businesses succeed and prosper. To that end, we are constantly looking for experienced business people to join our ranks as mentors and allow us to provide volunteer counsel to more clients in need.

Volunteering at SCORE is a way for you to give back to your community, connect with fellow business owners, and pass on your knowledge and expertise to the next generation of entrepreneurs in your community.
SCORE volunteers provide confidential business mentoring services, both in person and online. We lead seminars and workshops to help small business owners meet their goals and achieve success. We help expand outreach of SCORE through marketing and alliance building in our local communities. We provide subject matter expertise by industries and professional skills.
