Can you measure, cut and tape, and want to make some new friends? Join our Craft Prep Corps! They meet monthly to prepare craft materials used by visiting students. Artistic skill is not required, but reasonable attention-to-detail is key. This is a fun way to get involved and socialize with your new friends!

Description
The Troy Historical Society is a nonprofit organization with more than 40 years of success in preserving and presenting the history of our region. On July 1, 2011 the Troy Historical Society assumed responsibility for operation of the Troy Historic Village, where history lives. The Troy Historic Village includes ten historic buildings, surrounding a village green that is enhanced by gardens and mature trees. A tent and gazebo on the green provide areas for outdoor concerts, storytelling and reading aloud. There is ample space for picnics and traditional activities and games. Our historic buildings host concerts, lectures, discussions and meetings, as well as exhibits of arts and artifacts.
The Troy Historic Village is a destination for students, children, families and adults who live in or visit southeast Michigan.CAUSE AREAS
