Direct patient volunteering is the way to go. You would work closely with our patients by offering companionship and interaction through hobbies and shared interests like reading, talking, doing a puzzle or even watching a movie. It will get you comfortable with working closely with patients. You will be able to see healthcare from the patient’s perspective and understand them better. There is no hands-on care for the patient provided by the volunteer. This opportunity works well for people who would like patient contact experience for school, giving back or just to get your foot in the door with healthcare professions. You don't have to have any formal experience or be licensed. We will train you and place you with a senior in your community. This position is flexible and can also be done on weekends. You must be at least 18 years old for this opportunity. If you have any questions or would like to be a blessing to someone else, please contact us at: carepathvolunteers@gmail.com
