There are many ways to help individuals with Alzheimer's disease and their families
1. Education-Assist staff to develop, implement and evaluate educational programs/workshops, professional in-services, health fairs, public forums, conferences, community events, and art initiatives. Education focuses on increasing the understanding and effectiveness in the care and management of individuals with Alzheimer's disease and other dementia.
2. Family Services-Assist staff to provide caregiver support groups, early stage support programs, helpline telephone support, These programs are designed to enhance the quality of life for individuals with Alzheimer's disease and other dementia related diseases and their families
3. Respite Services-Assist staff with individuals with Alzheimer's disease and other dementia in our two Day Programs. Respite services engage Day program participants in social activities in a group setting or on an individual basis.
4. Administrative Support-assist staff by providing clerical support and project assistance in various departments throughout the organization. Tasks vary from data entry, answering phones, mailings and special projects.
