Orange Literacy is in need of volunteers to help us plan our annual Writers for Readers event! NY Times bestselling a uthor Sandra Brown is our featured panelist, and will appear, along with 2 other mystery authors, in an evening honoring literacy and great literature.
All proceeds from Writers for Readers benefit the Orange County Literacy Council. As the Council’s largest fundraising event, Writers for Readers makes a significant contribution, helping to ensure the delivery of services and furthering the Council’s mission-to create a community where will literacy is available to all.
We are in need of anyone willing to help plan this event, experience in marketing, sales, logistics, or public relations are a plus!

Description
Orange Literacy offers free individualized instruction for adults who want to improve their reading, writing, basic math and English language skills or to prepare for the GED. Orange Literacy matches trained volunteer tutors with adult learners.
