What: Shikishi Exhibit Deinstallation & Hinaningyo (Traditional Girls' Day Dolls) Setup
What: Over the course of 3 days, (2/22 - 2/24) serve as a volunteer and gain experience in gallery deinstallation and Hinaningyo assembly (traditional Girls' Day dolls) in preparation for our annual Hinamatsuri celebration.
Who: Volunteers with hands able to handle delicate items, physical ability to carry 10 lbs, gallery installation experience a plus, visual arts backgrounds are welcome but not required.
When: 2/22 - 2/24
Times: 10 am - 3 pm

Description
The JACCC is the largest Asian American cultural center in the U.S., and the preeminent presenter of Japanese and Japanese American arts and culture. Located in Little Tokyo, the historical heart of the Los Angeles Japanese American community, the JACCC was the dream of visionary Issei and Nisei (first and second generation) Japanese American pioneers to create a permanent center for the community and its future generations.
