Greenewood Manor may be the place for you! Our volunteers fill a variety of roles, from playing games with residents to painting furniture to filing paperwork in an office.
Those interested in volunteering should fill out our Volunteer Application and Waiver form-- links to the forms are available on our facility Volunteer Match page.
Potential volunteers will meet with our staff for an interview and orientation session after a background screening has been conducted. During this first meeting we will discuss opportunities and requirements for volunteer placement.

Mission Statement
Greenewood Manor has a long history of providing excellent care to our residents, who currently range in age from 46-106. We provide skilled nursing care and rehab stays for residents with a wide variety of diagnosis and abilities.
Description
Greenewood Manor is a non-profit skilled nursing facility. We offer skilled and intermediate 24 hour nursing care, as well as supportive living and respite care options for individuals seeking assistance on either a short term or long term basis. Greenewood Manor is owned and operated by the Greene County Board of Commissioners.
All potential volunteers must submit a Volunteer Application, a signed waiver form, pass a background check, and complete a Volunteer Orientation Session/ Interview prior to working with our residents. Volunteers under the age of 18 will be required to present a certified copy of their birth certificate at the time of their interview. Groups coming in to provide one-time entertainment may have different requirements- contact Amy Shade for details.
