Help members of the local community achieve their dream! Our organization prepares adult immigrants for the Naturalization (Citizenship) exam. Classes are held in the evening hours in Redwood City, San Francisco and Napa. Instructors are needed for both English and Spanish language classes.
Instructors help students build the vocabulary and grammar skills nessecary to pass the naturalization exam. Students are also instructed in United States history and government (Civics). Each class is approximatly 2.5 hours long and meet once a week.
Prospective instructors should be comfortable working with a group of adult students and be sensative to cultural differences. Spanish language ability is a plus but not required. All materials are provided by the organization.
