ORGANIZATION: Carnegie Center for Literacy and Learning

The Kentucky Great Writers Series connects Kentucky authors to readers in an intimate atmosphere. Each event hosts readings from 3 featured authors and an open mic session for guests. Books are available for purchase at all readings courtesy of the Morris Book Shop. Volunteers are needed to assist with greeting, tracking attendance, replenishing the coffee/pastry table, and taking pictures.

A community literacy and learning center that offers programming for all ages in the literary arts, foreign languages, and more! Plus, a tutoring program that serves over 250 children a week.
