Each year the March of Dimes holds several special fundraising events to fund breakthroughs in research, and initiatives in advocacy and education that help give babies a healthier start. This year our biggest special event, the March of Dimes’ Annual Signature Chefs Auction, will be held on Monday, March 21 st, at The Oncenter in Syracuse.
The March of Dimes Signature Chefs Auction pays tribute to and celebrates the culinary excellence of the local chefs, caterers, wineries, and breweries of Central New York. This event brings together a variety of fabulous foods, great company, priceless auction packages, and an extraordinary cause. All proceeds directly benefit the March of Dimes in its mission to find the causes of premature birth so that every baby has a healthy start at life.
We will need a number of volunteers to help with set up, break down, silent auction, live auction, guest services and fundraising activities.

Our mission is to improve the health of babies by preventing birth defects, premature birth, and infant mortality. We carry out this mission through research, community services, education and advocacy to save babies' lives. March of Dimes researchers, volunteers, educators, outreach workers and advocates work together to give all babies a fighting chance against the threats to their health: prematurity, birth defects, low birthweight.
