Thank you for your interest in volunteering for the Mighty Texas Dog Walk 2016!
Austin's Doggiest Day of the Year is back again and we need your help with the following tasks!
- Set Up
- Registration and Packet Pick Up On Site
- On Course Directing
- Water Stops
- Clean Up
If you have a specific area in which you would like to help please let me know. If you just want to be put where you are best used that is okay too!
We will need volunteers from 7:00am- 2:00pm and all times in between.

Description
Formerly Texas Hearing and Service Dogs, Inc. on our 25th anniversary we changed our name to Service Dogs, Inc. Founded in 1988 by Sheri Soltes, Service Dogs, Inc. is striving to minimize the ever growing issue of overcrowded shelters and also the need of service dogs in Texas. SDI is dedicated to rescuing dogs from shelters and training them to be hearing and service dogs for Texans living with these disabilities. Thanks to generous donors we are able to train these dogs at no charge to the person who needs them. SDI is able to provide lifetime support for all dogs that we bring into our program and are committed to finding them a loving working home so that the dog will never see a shelter again.
