If you've been in a grocery store lately, you will have noticed the big, red barrels for the annual Souper Bowl of Caring. They are receiving stations for donations of groceries for struggling families throughout Greater Houston. It's a great event.
You might not know that the Kroger's on West Gray in Houston sends all of their donations *exclusively* to the Guadalupe Center.
Each year, several of you have volunteered to take a shift at the West Gray Kroger's, to stand by the barrel and remind customers to give to a good cause.
The personal appeal makes all the difference!
We have shifts available from 4:00 pm - 8:00 pm, Monday-Friday and 10:00AM-7:00PM, Saturday-Sunday between now and Feb. 7. You will be making a huge difference in the lives of local families.
Please take a couple of hours to help with this easy but important work. Email or call me if you would like to sign up or need more information.
