Outreach Volunteers Needed in Los Angeles!

The Soldiers Project (TSP) is seeking friendly, outgoing and engaging individuals to be a part of our Outreach Team in the Los Angeles area. This position is excellent for anyone passionate about the veteran community and ensuring access to mental health services. We are looking for people who hold exceptional verbal, communication and interpersonal skills to assist with scheduling and attending outreach events in the area.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Conduct outreach to community partners in the both the Veteran and Mental Health space in order to spread awareness and gain support for The Soldiers Project in the region.
• Attending and tabling at community events to recruit new clients and volunteers.
• Working with our Volunteer Coordinator to determine best strategies to increase awareness of The Soldiers Project in the region.

The Soldiers Project is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that has been providing critically needed mental health services to Post 9/11 Veterans and their loved ones since 2004. Our services are provided to all branches of the military, regardless of discharge status or deployment. The Soldiers Project operates through eight chapters and is located in seven states including: California, Washington, Illinois, Pennsylvania, New York, Wyoming, and Texas. Our headquarters are located in Los Angeles, California.
