Volunteers needed now!
We are in need of caring volunteers to a part of our new Comfort Cart program at Alexian Brothers Medical Center! The Comfort Cart delivers items such as chap stick, hair brushes, ear plugs, and playing cards to patients to help make their hospital stay a little better. Volunteers can work solo or in teams to deliver these items to patients. The volunteer must be friendly and interested in interacting with patients.
Needed volunteer shifts are Monday, Tuesday, and Friday anytime between the hours of 9 AM and 4 PM. Volunteers are expected to commit to one 4-hour shift each week.

Description
Ascension Alexian Brothers Volunteer Program plays a critical role in assisting and supporting various departments within the Medical Center.
Our Volunteers
A talented and generous group of adults and students volunteer at Ascension Alexian Brothers each year and make a difference in the lives of our patients, their friends, families, and our staff. They are active in the customer service areas, provide exceptional office and clerical support, assist on nursing floors and outpatient care departments, and participate in the weekly sewing workshop where a group assembles to craft baby hats and stuffed animals for the women, infant, and emergency room units.
