Pedal the Cause is in need of volunteers to join our Community Support Team! This team will have two major responsibilities, Tabling Events and Aid Station Support.

Tabling Event

Inform and educate the public about Pedal the Cause by engaging in conversations, presenting materials, and answering questions. These events take place at local universities, corporate sponsors, community events, and with partners of Pedal the Cause.

Duties:

• Hand out information about Pedal the Cause
• Talk with general public
• answer basic questions about Pedal the Cause
• Set up information displays
• Transport materials to and from events

Responsibilities:

• A brief training will be proved to all volunteers about Pedal the Cause
• Ability to work independently, and proceed with objectives without close supervision
• Well organized

Aid Station Support Volunteer

Set up, manage, and tear down a functional aid station during one of our cycling events (outside of event weekend). (This will require heavy lifting of up to 20 pounds)

Duties:

• Set up table, tent, chairs, food, water
• Keep aid station stocked with supplies
• Interact with riders in a friendly manner
• Help riders with any needs or concerns
• Tear down aid stations
• Transport to and from locations
• Represent Pedal the Cause and our mission

Responsibilities:

• A brief training will be proved to all volunteers about Pedal the Cause
• Ability to work independently, and proceed with objectives without close supervision
