If working disaster response, volunteers will help gather if nssasassary items for a MARC and also staff the MARC tables, interacting with clients and helping with forms,as well as set up and take down. If helping with theraputic outings such as a ball game, volunteers will assist clients with mobility and comunications. If helping with crafting then you will aid clients with cutting, glueing etc... If helping with toy distribution you may be asked to drive to pick up or deliver gifts to clients. If you are willing to work events it may entail set up and clean up as well as promoting the organization for fundraising purposes, working with clients and their families in what ever the event may be. If you do admin tasks (what a blessing!) it will vary depending on thae task needed. Since we are in the process of developing Candy Cane Village there are many opportunities to become involved with us on a regular basis if you you would like. We believe that Christmas is a season of the heart...not the calendar! Come be an Elf with us!

21st Century Santa,Inc. is a faith based nonprofit organization that present the magic of Christmas year around to Oklahoma families with children that have challenges such as developmental, cognitive and physical disabilities, disasters, as well as hospice and military deployment. Also families of Veterans and the general public. We want every child to believe they are the most important person on earth - in Gods eyes as well as Santa.
Description
We provide Christmas and Santa visits when ever it is needed to individuals that may not have it at the usual time of year or maybe even not have another one due to their limited time on this earth. Also during times of disaster we provide emergency care as second responders by providing something fresh and new so children may stay busy while parents or guardians take care of paperwork., then follow up with those families in the next year to see that their needs are met. We also due year around community events to support not only our organization but others as well. We are also in the process of developing "Candy Cane Village " in Minco, Oklahoma!
