WXPN is the non-commercial, member-supported radio service of the University of Pennsylvania, and the premier guide for discovering new and significant artists in rock, blues, roots, and folk. WXPN also produces World Cafe(r), public radio's most popular program of popular music hosted by David Dye and syndicated by NPR on over 180 stations around the country. WXPN serves the greater Philadelphia area at 88.5 FM, the Lehigh Valley at 104.9, Worton/Baltimore at 90.5 FM, Lancaster/Lebanon at 88.7 FM, Harrisburg at 99.7 FM, Hackettstown at 91.9 and the world via online streaming at XPN.org and XPoNentialMusic.org.

Member-supported radio means that we rely on our listeners for roughly 50% of our operating budget. We have three on-air fund drives a year in order to raise these funds, and during these drives we rely on our volunteers to answer the phones and take pledges. In excahnge for your help and dedication, we will feed you in body with delicious food from local restaurants and purveyors and fill your soul with music, the opportunity to connect with like minded people and get an insider's view of the station!
