Want to help kindergarten & 1st-graders learn to love reading? We're looking for volunteers that are willing to model positive reading skills by:

  • Reading enthusiastically
  • Asking basic thought-provoking questions about the book
  • Being a positive & engaging role model for the students

Volunteers will meet with Mosinee Elementary School students once a week for one hour, from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m., during the students' lunch time on Tuesdays or Thursdays starting in October 2015 until May 2016 !!

You'll simply read a few books to the child and chat about them while they eat and listen. This is a casual volunteer position, intended to help get our youngest students to see reading as FUN & ENJOYABLE!
