ORGANIZATION: Compassionate Care Hospice

  • A group opportunity. Invite your friends.

Compassionate Care Hospice has partnered with We Honor Veterans. In an attempt to better honor our veterans, we are creating a Vet to Vet volunteer program. We are seeking out Veterans who are willing to offer their time and companionship to terminally ill Veterans.

Aside from being a Veteran, maturity, reliability and good listening skills are the most important requirements for this position. This volunteer opportunity is a wonderful fit for outgoing individuals who view life with a positive outlook and enjoy making connections with others. It is an extremely flexible position and we are willing to work with your schedule to get these vets the visits they deserve.

You will be offering emotional support, comfort and companionship to those who are experiencing loneliness and social isolation. Training, background checks, and TB test required and are provided free of charge by Compassionate Care Hospice.
