One of our most popular events, volunteering at the Cambridge 5K Craicfest is something you don't want to miss!
Cambridge 5K - Craicfest is an Irish-themed road race that benefits the East End House & Ahern Family Charitable Foundation.
What we'll be doing Waterstop: pre-pouring water in cups, handing water to runners, raking up used cups Finish Line: Handing out water at finish line, congratulating and high fiving runners! Bag Check: greeting runners, organizing bags after they are dropped off VIP Tent Management: Assisting Runners at Team VIP Tents, stocking the tents Information/Directions: Help direct runners to registration, bag check, VIP Tents, and the start line! What you should knowVolunteers will receive a pre-race snack, an event shirt + free admission to the post race party with Slumbrew, Notch, Nightshift, and Downeast Cider (ALL beer & food is complimentary for party goers). One Brick Boston will have our own VIP Tent located next to Slumbrew in the post-race party area!
Where to meetVolunteers should see their Event Manager, Dave at the volunteer table at Cambridgeside Galleria food court at 7:30am. The Cambridgeside Galerica Mall is located at 100 Cambridgeside Pl, Cambridge, MA 02141 (enter via food court entrance, near Sears @ corner of 1st St. & Thorndike St.) Please arrive by 7:30am

We enable people to get involved, have an impact and have fun, without the requirements of individual long-term commitments.
Description
Headquartered in San Francisco, California, One Brick is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization that brings volunteers together to support other local non-profits by adopting an innovative twist to the volunteer experience: we create a friendly and social atmosphere around volunteering, and after each volunteer event -- which typically lasts only 3 to 4 hours -- we invite volunteers to gather at a local restaurant or caf where they can get to know one another in a relaxed social setting.
Our 'commitment-free volunteering' allows you to choose when you volunteer, rather than having to make commitments for a certain number of volunteer hours, or agree to be available every week at a specific time.
