Volunteer Trip Assistant needed for weekly shopping trips. Trip leader is responsible for ensuring that senior center participants are aware of the departure and return times. Additionally, the trip leader assists participants that may need help with their shopping needs. Indirectly feed your love of shopping by helping those needing additional assistance. What a great way to give back in 2016?

The Fairfax Area Agency on Aging (AAA) serves older adults, adults with disabilities, and family caregivers in Fairfax County and the cities of Fairfax and Falls Church. The goal of the AAA is to improve quality of life and promote independent living for older adults. We are a partnership of Department of Family Services, Neighborhood and Community Services and the Health Department.

Our mission is to support older adults and adults with disabilities in a variety of ways. We provide volunteer services to help people to remain in their own homes/communities and improve their quality of life.
