Berkeley Food & Housing Project serves a free, drop-in Community Meal at the Lutheran Church of the Cross.
** We currently need volunteers for Mondays and Tuesdays from 2:45-5:00pm**
Duties include: setting up, preparing food, and serving food to individuals who are homeless, or on the verge of homelessness, and then helping with the take down and clean up after the guests leave.

Description
Since 1970, Insight Housing (formerly Berkeley Food & Housing Project) has provided a comprehensive range of housing, food, and support services to help those in need move from homelessness into a safe and affordable home of their own. The Hope Center is the flagship of Insight Housing and offers a wide range of housing and support for people experiencing homelessness and food insecurity. Our many volunteers offer their time, energy and talents to make our work possible.
