Become a Mentor and Make a Difference in a Child's Life!

Beswick Elementary is participating in the state-run CalPREP program where mentors like you are paired with young students (aged 9-11) that need an extra boost to discover their passions. Many of our students don't yet have the drive to excel in school in order to graduate high school or college. That's why we need your help to motivate our students.

You will directly work with 1 or 2 children in a classroom setting once a week in the hopes that you will be a positive influence in their lives. Lesson plans will be provided every week where you can get to know the students personally and academically with the freedom to customize each lesson to your liking.

No experience is required, just a smile and the willingness to brighten a child's future.

This no-cost program runs from 3:30 to 5 pm every Tuesday and Thursday (you chose which day you prefer!) at Beswick Elementary and starts February 23rd, 2016.
