ORGANIZATION: Heart to Heart Hospice

Would you like to become friend to a hospice patient? Simply reading to them, just being present, or holding their hand could be all they are looking for! Consider becoming a hospice volunteer and be the difference someone needs near the end of their journey! You can set your own schedule and volunteer as much or little as you would like. In order to become a volunteer of Heart to Heart Hospice, the following steps are required:

  • Application

  • Background check

  • Orientation Training- This is usually done in 1 to 2 hours

  • TB Screening- A TB screening is required upon "hire" along with one TB test annually.
