Tutors are needed for The School at Thompson. Tutors work one on one with a child, focusing on reading and math. This opportunity is available Monday-Friday 9 a.m.- 2 p.m. for one hour. Tutors are asked to commit from late June to early August. The children we serve have behaviorial and emotional problems.

• Tutors must be at least 18 years old. They should have a high school diploma and experience working with children. Tutors should have patience and compassion yet be firm. Tutors must have a basic understanding of academics and ability to accommodate different learning styles. Tutors will have to complete an application including background check and reference check.
