ORGANIZATION: Asian Counseling and Referral Service

Position hours: 4-8 hours/event at 3 or more events a year (10-12 if possible)

Requirements: Outgoing and committed to ACRS’s mission and a willingness to participate is a must. Asian language skills a plus!

Support and Supervision: Volunteer will receive 45 minute orientation to ACRS as an agency and a 1 hour training via webinar. First outreach shifts will be supported and supervised by ACRS staff or experience outreach volunteer
Minimum Age Requirement: 18 Duration
Requirement: 3 months

Share about ACRS alongside agency staff at outreach tables and booths at community events and celebrations. Enjoy cultural performances, unique treats, meeting new people, playing our bean bag game with the public, and giving out prizes! Facilitate people accessing our services, sharing info with their friends and family, considering volunteering, attending agency events, and supporting as a donor. (Training provided.)

Asian Counseling and Referral Service (ACRS) is a nationally recognized nonprofit organization offering a broad array of human services and behavioral health programs to Asian Pacific Americans in King County. ACRS is the largest multiservice organization serving all the different Asian Pacific American communities - immigrants, refugees and American born - in the Pacific Northwest.
