Special Equestrians, a therapeutic horseback riding program located in Birmingham, AL, will be beginning its spring session of riding soon and is looking for side-walkers to assist in our classes! We serve over 100 riders each week, so the demand for volunteers is high. Volunteers are asked to attend one new volunteer training session prior to volunteering with us. We also ask that volunteers commit to one day (2-3 hours) a week to volunteer for the 9 week term. Let us know if you are interested in signing up for one of our new volunteer training sessions! Minimum age for volunteers is 14 years old, and no horse experience is necessary!
