We need your help to serve on the FinFest 2016: Rolling on the River planning committee. With your help we will serve more people than ever before!
FinFest 2016: Rolling on the River will be held on
Saturday, May 21, 2016 at 7:00 pm at the
Timuquana Country Club
The evening will include live entertainment, island cuisine and a silent and live auction. Myron and Amanda Pincomb will serve as Event Chairs, with John Falconetti and Shannon Miller, John and Gena Delaney and Dawn and Al Emerick as Honorary Co-Chairs.
Jacksonville Speech & Hearing Center is looking for FinFest Committee Members who will volunteer with staff to market the event, recruit attendees, secure sponsorships in an effort to execute a successful event.
Each committee is dedicated to a specific focus: auction, ticket sales or sponsorship committees and works for a limited time until the event date. Both Board members and other community volunteers are members of the committees.

The mission of the Jacksonville Speech & Hearing Center is to provide the highest quality professional and compassionate care to all individuals with hearing, speech and/or language disorders in our community.
Description
The Jacksonville Speech & Hearing Center is a non-profit health facility whose mission is to provide the highest quality professional and compassionate care to all individuals (both children and adults) with hearing, speech and/or language disorders in the Northeast Florida area. The Center has been serving the greater-Jacksonville community since 1949, is conveniently located in downtown Jacksonville with its own parking lot, and is open Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.
Volunteers are needed to assist staff throughout the year with conducting free hearing screenings at various community and corporate health/wellness fairs, governmental offices, various civic/service/professional organizations, and at private schools.
Volunteers with expertise in specific areas are needed to assist staff throughout the year with:
- Special events planning
- Fundraising, Development and Marketing
- Public Relations and Social Media
- Community Outreach
- Research
- Outreach to physician offices
Volunteer activities can be tailored to the particular interests, expertise and experience of volunteers.
