Volunteers Needed for Ski A Thon
Event Info:
Help the Courage Kenny Ski and Snowboard sites raise community support through its annual Ski-A-Thon fundraiser. Athletes and volunteers collect donations throughout the beginning of the season for the runs they will take during the Ski-A-Thon Event. Volunteers are needed to make signs, cheer on the athletes after each run from the bottom of the hill, and create a celebratory atmosphere at each of the ski sites (4 to choose from!) Some sites offer on the slope games for volunteers to coordinate as well.
The proceeds from the Ski-A-Thon go directly to support Courage Kenny Ski and Snowboard adaptive sites throughout the region. The funds raised in the annual Ski-A-Thon offset the expense of purchasing adaptive ski equipment, training 400 volunteers and professional staff members, and subsidizing the cost of every lesson!
