Just as April showers bring May flowers, AARP brings its members discounted tickets to the Cincinnati Home & Garden Show to explore home products and services, landscape and interior design ideas, and ways to refresh and renovate.
We’re offering you the chance to be a part of this local favorite with us! In addition to a member discount on admission, AARP in Cincinnati will be on the floor of the show with information about Family Caregiving, a prize wheel and giveaways, and general AARP information (NO sales or membership enrollment activities!)
THE DETAILS
During your shift (three volunteers per shift), you’ll share resources and tips to help family members care for their loved ones in their homes. And help them spin the wheel for fun giveaways!
You’ll also get a free ticket to the Home & Garden Show to use before or after your shift and a $15 stipend to cover parking costs once you’ve completed your shift. And we’ll give you an AARP t-shirt to wear while you’re at the table!
We’ll host two 45-minute orientation conference calls on Thursday, February 25th at 1p and at 6:30p so that you can ask questions and get more information.
WHEN
Volunteer shifts are available every day of the Home & Garden Show (three volunteers per shift). Volunteer with a friend or family member and double the fun! Be sure to reply quickly to get your desired slot!
