Volunteers needed for Junior Achievement's Reverse Job Shadow at PACE Center for Girls.
Monday, February 22 / 1:00 - 3:00 p.m.
Traditional job shadows bring students to the workplace. JA's Reverse Job Shadow brings the workplace to the students!
Volunteers from the business world are given a table to set up their display: signs, posters, brochures, products - anything you wish to bring. Dress as you would for a work day - don't hold back! Students visit each station on a rotational basis, asking questions and learning about the different types of careers presented.
This opportunity is in partnership with JA Girl$, a Junior Achievement of North Florida initiative to educate girls and young women in financial literacy, career readiness and entrepreneurship.

Description
Junior Achievement is the world's largest organization dedicated to educating students about workforce readiness, entrepreneurship and financial literacy through experiential, hands-on programs.
Our volunteer-delivered, kindergarten-12 th grade programs foster work-readiness, entrepreneurship and financial literacy skills, and use experiential learning to inspire students to dream big and reach their potential.
JA's unique approach allows volunteers from the community to deliver our curriculum while sharing their experiences with students.
Through an innovative partnership between the business community, educators and volunteers, Junior Achievement helps young people connect with relevant learning and the importance of staying in school. JA students develop the skills they need to experience the realities and opportunities of work and entrepreneurship in the 21 st-century global marketplace.
Junior Achievement of North Florida is one of 115 JA Areas in the United States. JA of North Florida has been in operation since 1963 and serves youth in Duval, St. Johns, Clay and surrounding counties.
