Do you have a special talent or an area of expertise that you'd like to share with others?
The Sylvan Oaks Library is launching a new and exciting program for adults. The LIFE LONG LEARNING series will start in January 2016 and run through May 2016. Each month a new topic will be showcased. The topic areas are wide open and subject to what you are interested in sharing and teaching others. We're looking for people who are skilled, knowledgeable, and passionate about a specific subject area such as: travelling, cooking, photography, art, literature, yoga, just to name a few. It's up to you to decide what you'd like to teach!
We're looking for a broach range of topic areas so don't be shy about sharing your experience and enthusiasm about an area that's near and dear to you!
The Life Long Learning series is scheduled on the THIRD FRIDAY of the month. We'd like to offer the program sometime between 1:00pm and 5:00pm subject to your availability.
We're anxious to hear from you. Please include a brief description of what you'd like to present when you submit the online volunteer application.
Share your knowledge and passion. YOU can make a difference to people in your community!
