RSVP is a federal program which began in 1971 and is administered by theCorporation for National and Community Service. RSVP is America’s largestvolunteer network for people age 55 and over. There are nearly 500,000 participants across the nation who are providing valuable services in their communities.

Description

RSVP members may choose from a list of agencies in Chicago that have a signed agreement with the RSVP office. Volunteer assignments are made according to volunteers’ skills and interests and the needs of the stations.

Each volunteer position has different time requirements. RSVP strives to help you find opportunities that match your interest and scheduling needs. You will then work with your station supervisor to finalize your schedule. This will include time for orientation and training.
