Depression, divorce, thoughts of suicide--everyone experiences crises in their lives, but no one should have to suffer alone. We are a lifeline to hope for individuals in our community who are going through times of crisis, whatever that may be. We are not therapist or counselors, and we are certainly not your typical call center. We are a team of trained volunteers who provide listening ears, empathetic hearts, and crisis intervention for anyone who needs us. We help clients develop solutions to their own problems, recognize coping methods in their own lives, and find long-term community resources.
Our next training is July 16th 10:00-1:30PM, and July 19th 6:30-7:30PM. Check out our website (crisislineuc.org) for more information, and to get a link to our volunteer application. Once you have filled out the application, you may be contacted for a phone interview. If you have any questions, feel free to contact us at director@crisislineuc.org.
