The purpose of the Street team is to help raise awareness and enrollment in the SNAP progrm, increase use of SNAP at the Freedom Farmers Market, raise awareness of the market's particpation in the 'Double Bucks' program and increase senior presence in collaboration with AARP.
The Street team will conduct community outreach to the neighborhoods surrounding the Freedom Farmers Market which include: Old Fourth Ward, Poncey-Highland, Edgewood, Candler Park & Little 5 Points.
Key Responsiblities:
- Distributing promotional materials about the market & SNAP enrollment evets
- Talking with neighborhood residents about the Freedom Farmers market & SNAP
- Speaking with residents about the 'Double Bucks' program
- Conducting SNAP presentations and/or enrollment events
- Conduct market surveys
Mileage Reimbursement & training provided
