The San Antonio Public Library is looking for volunteer oil painting instructors to teach a class at the Learn@SAPL Adult Education Centers. These centers are for underserved adult populations concentrating on issues that interfere with workforce readiness including low levels of adult literacy, food insecurity, child care issues, homelessness and stress related to poverty. The art class is part of the stress relief program. This is a suitable opportunity for an art student, retiree or anyone else with an art background that would like to volunteer in the community.
