A simple cheek swab is all it takes to possibly save a life!
Gift of Life Bone Marrow Foundation is a national 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to matching bone marrow and stem cell donors with patients suffering from leukemia, lymphoma, and other life threatening diseases. Nationwide, we run donor drives at hundreds of locales in an effort to swab individuals interested in becoming part of the worldwide registry.
We are looking for volunteers to help facilitate and run a donor drive at the Gate River Run Expo (the largest 15k in the USA!).
Volunteers will be ensuring that potential donors swab into the registry properly and fill out all their information accordingly on the forms. Full training and support is provided to all volunteers.
