The 2016 HOPE Collaborative Walkathon needs Volunteers for: Event Set-up, Registration and Check-In, Information, First Aid stations, Course Checkpoints, Water Stations and Refreshments, Entertainment, Kids Corner, and Clean-Up. The Committee is also looking for Teams of Walkers or Runners, to assist with promotion and to help with sponsors.
The HOPE Walkathon Location is set for the California Citrus State Historic Park (9400 Dufferin Ave., Riverside, CA 92503).
The HOPE Collaborative for Riverside County prevents child abuse and neglect and promotes the safety of children. The mission is accomplished through collaboration, community awareness, education, victim services and advocacy on behalf of children.
This is one of the programs operated by FSA in conjunction with numerous agencies interested in the well-being of children in Riverside County.

Since 1953, Family Service Association has served communities in Southern California with a variety of human service programs including: Child Development, Child Abuse Prevention, Trauma Informed Counseling, Senior and Community Centers, Senior Housing, and Senior Nutrition. Family Service is a not-for-profit social service organization dedicated to meeting the changing needs of families and communities in Riverside County and San Bernardino County regardless of income, ethnicity, gender or socio-economic status. We envision a day when Inland Empire communities have strong families without poverty, hunger or health disparities.
