Bring together friends and family and host a 6K walk/run on March 19 to help children in need. Everyday about 1,000 children die due to lack of clean water. You can change that, every registration for World Vision's 6K for Water provides lasting clean water to a child in Africa.
There is no experience neccessary to be a host and World Vision provides all the materials you need to host including t-shirts, medals, race bibs with the child you're providing clean water to, planning guides, etc. Times and locations are also felxible (Tom Lee Park is just a suggestion.)
More information can be found at hostsite.worldvision6k.org or contact Ashley Colquitt directly at acolquit@worldvision.org to learn more.
