This is a remote opportunity!

Our organization is seeking to add people to our fundraising committee, under the guidance of the board of directors. Our organization has two (2) primary fundraising events during the year, with the occasional crowdfunding campaign.

Members of the committee are tasked with the following responsibilities:

1. Assist with donor outreach and donor prospecting (using our CRM and software we have access to)
a. Helping to research current donors and identifying potential prospects (individual and corporate)
b. Assisting with sending out donor thank you notes and gifts (all materials and gifts will be provided to you)

2. Assisting with planning and execution of fundraising events

3. Assist with marketing of fundraisers

4. Reaching out to potential event sponsors

5. Outreach for the events which include:

a. Using social media to spread the word about the events (twitter, Facebook,

Instagram, LinkedIn, etc.)

b. Helping to generate 'buzz' and interest in the events

We are looking for 5-6 people to join this committee with great social media skills, event planning experience, or great organization skills and creativity. This could be a great step to eventually getting on the board as a director. The committee meets once a month for 45 minutes, with other communication done through email and phone calls outside of the monthly meeting.

We anticipate each person will spend approximately one - three (1-3) hours a month (much of it on your own time/schedule) on various responsibilities related to this committee.
