Mountain Valley Developmental Services' mission is to encourage and support individuals with developmental disabilities, enhancing their ability to live, learn and work in an independent and inclusive manner, and to educate the community about their contributions and capabilities. The purpose of Mountain Valley is to provide persons served and their families with supports that will promote skill acquisition, independence and inclusion within the community. We are looking for volunteers from Rifle to Carbondale to have fun and help with special events, greenhouse, music, arts & crafts, reading, walks, computers, games, bowling, cooking, and even minor home repairs. A few hours a month would make a huge difference.
